Our Training Philosophy
At Coastal Canine Coaching, we believe in the power of positive reinforcement and relationship-based training. Our training philosophy is centered around building a strong bond between you and your dog, ensuring effective communication and trust.
We have programs tailored to help dog owners at all stages of their training journey, whether you have have just welcomed a new puppy to your home, or you are looking for help with a specific behavioral concern, or you are looking to advance your skills in dog sports. Coastal Canine Coaching can create a training program to help you and your dog reach your goals.

Jonathan Dingman, CCDT
Certified Dog Trainer & Owner of Coastal Canine Coaching LLC
Jonathan Dingman, CCDT, is a passionate and experienced professional dog trainer with over five years of experience helping dogs and their owners build strong, positive relationships. As the owner of Coastal Canine Coaching LLC, Jonathan specializes in obedience training, behavior modification, and agility training.
A graduate of CATCH Canine Academy, Jonathan is dedicated to using science-based, force-free training methods to create lasting behavioral success. He has worked extensively with local animal shelters, assisting in behavior cases and implementing structured playgroups to improve the well-being of shelter dogs.
At home, Jonathan shares his life with three beloved dogs: Charlie, a Golden Retriever; Gracie, a Yellow Lab; and Zoey, a Goldendoodle. He actively competes in agility trials with Charlie and Gracie, showcasing his commitment to canine enrichment and performance training.
Whether working with pet owners or rescue organizations, Jonathan’s goal is to enhance the lives of dogs and their families through effective, compassionate training techniques.
